"Throws" are always too small, especially if sharing. I washed and dried it upon arrival, and it truly is washable/dryable. I used the cold/gentle cycle, and dried on low heat. Even though it was new, only a tiny bit of lint ended up on the dryer's lint trap. (My polyester blanket that is 5 years old still leaves a ton of little plastic-like balls on the lint trap, yuck.) Still looks perfectly new after washing. The whip-stitching around the outside edge is very well done, and you can tell it is a high quality and sturdy blanket overall. The Pendelton website describes the color as "paprika," which is accurate. It is warm, and I like that it is 100% wool and made in the U.S. We'll eventually replace our other blankets with these nicer wool blankets. No complaints. |
