The colors are right at home in a masculine setting. The stitching is beautiful and anyone can and will appreciate it. I get compliments all the time.I sleep without a topsheet, and my initial complaint was that the reverse side of the comforter uses a low thread count material that is somewhat rough. I noticed it immediately when I first moved from my old comforter, but now I find it comfortable enough. I don't know if it's the fact that it has softened up or that I have just become accustomed to it. I searched for months and was thrilled when I came across this gem. It retails for $400+ in my local department store so this is a great buy on Amazon. The colors shown in the photo are not accurate though..it IS NOT light blue...it's more of a seaspray greenish-blue and dark brown.The set has matching sheets that you can purchase but I have seem them first-hand and WOULD not recommend them (their thread count was low and they looked cheap).
