The previous one I was using felt too heavy and was way too hot except for the coldest of winter nights. The current one I was using was way too thin and the down clumped in the middle and left the perimeters bare (it was an expensive one bought at a high-end well-known department store too); I returned it after 6 months since it had a 4 year warranty and exchanged it for another one which supposedly was stitched thru to prevent the down from shifting. Wrong advertising, returned to department store again! After reading the reviews on this one, worth a try since my options were so limited. Extremely happy: it is plush enough to give that "comfy" feeling but not so heavy as to weight you down. The covering material has the feel of silk; the pattern is gorgeous.
