This set is far more than that. It is very soft - not at all scratchy. The colors are great - vibrant but not too overpowering. Yes, you read that correctly, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Echo Sardinia King Comforter Set (Misc.) The colors are great on this comforter set... I'll give it that. But the comforter itself is crap. It was crunchy and crackily (weird, I know) in the inside for large portions. You could also feel these portions tearing on the inside, too. This was right after taking it out of the bag. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought that washing it may help. We took it to the local laundromat because it was king size and would not fit in our home machines. The wash went fine, except that the comforter still felt bad in those same spots. After being in the industrial-sizes dryer for ONLY 8 MINUTES ON PERMANENT PRESS THE COMFORTER WAS SMOKING AND VISIBLY BURNED on the parts which were already crunchy/crackily. Dumbfounded we took it out and went home.I've bought $50 bed-in-a-bag sets that are much better than this comforter. It's a shame, too, because the colors are great, and the shams / bedskirt are good and what we expected. Now we will need to shell out some more... Looks fantastic and feels nice. It's pretty tough too. I have two large Australian Shepherds who sleep in the bed and it's held up well considering. The reason I give 4 and not 5 is because it was kind of expensive to only include a skirt and two shams, and all the throw pillows are super-cute but very high. It also has matching curtains sold separately that are gorgeous. Love the colors. |
