That being said it has made an incredible difference for us in the comfort level of the bed. We opted for a one step up from the bottom sleep number bed thinking that we could add a layer of memory foam for alot less than the cost of the superior sleep number and we made a good decision. We are in our 50's and have more trouble sleeping with out waking to shift position at night. The first time we slept on this, I didn't move the entire night. We have had this since this summer and it still feels like heaven when I lay down at night. The mattresses out here are HORRID and I would have to wake up several times in the night to move from where a spring was poking into my back. I ordered this because I was spoiled with my pillow top mattress, and wanted something to help me sleep better. The moment I unrolled it and laid on my bed I noticed a difference. I thought that the different sections (smaller blocks and bigger blocks on the pattern) would bother me, but I sunk right in. For some reason, only lately (I've had it for five months) it keeps coming bunched up in the middle and where I lay my head. It gets so bad if I don't fix it when I first notice it the mattress topper will take the sheet off of my bed. I fix it almost 2-3 times a week, which can get really annoying.
